Finding a leak is a different skill from replacing a roof, and it comes first. Water travels sideways along rafters and shows up on a ceiling a long way from where it entered, so a stain is a clue rather than an address. The roof gets read from the top down: penetrations, valleys, wall junctions, fastener heads, the edge where material meets gutter. Where it is reachable, the attic side is checked for daylight and for old staining that has dried. A hose test can settle an argument between two candidates. Only then does the choice between a targeted repair and a full replacement make sense, and that choice is put in writing with what was actually observed.
Roofing in Oak Park is scoped in person. The Onsite Visit + Free Estimate brings someone to the address to inspect the roof, the attic side where it is reachable, and any interior staining, then a detailed scope of work and a remodeling consultation are written up at no cost to the homeowner. That document is what a price attaches to later. MyCali Builders handles permit filing on roofing work, is licensed and insured, and carries CSLB #1072368. Financing is available. Completed roofing is backed by a warranty of 5 years, and the company has been in business since 2020.

I recently hired My Cali Builders for a backyard remodel and couldn't be happier.
Danny and his team were professional, punctual, and easy to communicate with.
They really paid attention to the details and brought my vision to life.
The quality of the work exceeded my expectations from start to finish.
Everything was done cleanly and on schedule, which I really appreciated.
Danny made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
The backyard now looks amazing and feels like a completely new space.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable contractors.
Was very impressed! Prompt. Highly professional. Thorough. Excellent feedback and service while response completing my job. I absolutely would hire them again and recommend them without any concerns!
I began my Yelp search for a company to perform structural repairs and ultimately chose 5 companies, scheduling each of them for a representative to visit and discuss my needs. I chose My Cali Builders based upon Danny's (owner) review of the work and how he defined the scope of the work. The other representatives vacillated on the scope of the work and attached various caveats. My Cali Builders also gave me the best bid. So I hired them and boy, am I glad I did. Work was performed quickly, efficiently and the finish work was excellent. Every task I initially discussed with Danny was completed. Danny's crew including Francisco and Jaime, were top notch and pleasant. Each day, refuse and trash were removed. Every day, Danny either visited or texted to advise on progress and to insure the work was progressing as discussed and to ask if I was satisfied and happy. I can't convey in words how much I appreciated My Cali Builders. Look no further, they are the best I've ever encountered.
Danny Raz is a man of action; the work was done promptly and even finished ahead of schedule. The workers were polite, respectful, of cleaned up well after the job.

Answers to the most common questions about this service in your area.
Financing is available on roofing work in Oak Park, so a replacement does not have to be funded in one go. Bring it up during the Onsite Visit + Free Estimate, while the scope of work is still being written, since scope and funding shape each other. MyCali Builders has been in business since 2020 and is licensed and insured, working under CSLB #1072368.
Most roofing scopes complete in 1 to 5 days. Weather windows and material delivery are factored into the schedule before work begins. We give you a written schedule during the estimate so milestone dates are clear before field work starts.
Permits are required for full roof replacements in most cities. We pull the permit and schedule the required inspection before work closes out. You can also step back to the main Oak Park page to compare related local services.
There is no set price for roofing in Oak Park. A repair confined to one valley sits at one end and a full tear-off with deck replacement at the other, and the honest answer is that the roof has to be looked at first. Area, pitch, layers, deck condition, flashing count and the material chosen all move it. The onsite visit is free, and the number that follows is tied to the written scope rather than to a phone estimate.
Yes. CA Contractor License #1072368. Fully insured for liability and workers compensation. The public record is on the CSLB lookup.
Shingle, tile and flat roofing systems are all covered. Under whichever one is chosen sits the part that decides how long it lasts: underlayment, formed metal at valleys and walls, and a drainage path that actually clears the roof. Ridge and hip treatment is specified for tile, cap detail for shingle, and seam and slope handling for flat areas. Selections are recorded in the scope of work at the free estimate.
